Cambridge City Lincoln won the last time they faced Randolph Southern and things went their way on Monday too. The Golden Eagles blew past the Rebels 21-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Lexi McPheeters made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Cambridge City Lincoln got a massive performance out of Addyson Pitcock, who went 4-for-5 with two triples, five RBI, and three runs. Those two triples gave Pitcock a new career-high. Allison Clayton was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Cambridge City Lincoln now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Randolph Southern, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

As for Randolph Southern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cowan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
