Recap: Sunnydale Academy vs. Christian Fellowship
Sunnydale Academy lost to Christian Fellowship back in February, but Sunnydale Academy didn't allow Christian Fellowship the same satisfaction on Monday. Sunnydale Academy was the clear victor by a 61-37 margin over Christian Fellowship. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sunnydale Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunnydale Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kassie Abrahamson, who scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Rester, who scored 20 points.
Christian Fellowship's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooke Grathwohl, who scored 14 points, and Emma Kate Bradley who scored 10 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The game was Grathwohl's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Sunnydale Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Christian Fellowship, they have yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 3-2 record.
Sunnydale Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against North Missouri HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Christian Fellowship, they will head out on the road to face off against Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Plaza Heights Christian Academy is ranked 213th, while Christian Fellowship is ranked 221st).
