Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Nona). They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 victory over the Hagerty Huskies on Friday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 74-73 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Hagerty lost, don't look at Jayden McCrae. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. McCrae continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Dean Vega was another key player, putting up seven points.

Lake Nona now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hagerty, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Nona will head out to take on Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hagerty, they are taking a road trip to square off against Winter Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hagerty is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.1 points per game this season.
