Preview: Brookfield Bobcats vs. Weston Trojans
The Brookfield Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Weston Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookfield is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Brookfield came up short against Masuk and fell 31-20.
Despite their defeat, Brookfield saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Michael Walters, who rushed for 118 yards, was perhaps the best of all. Walters was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards. Carter Sacharewitz was in the mix as well, providing Brookfield with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Weston's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 46-26 defeat at the hands of New Milford.
The losses dropped Brookfield to 4-4 and Weston to 2-6.
Brookfield suffered a grim 34-14 defeat to Weston in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Brookfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
