Baseball Recap: Oakridge Comes Up Short

Oakridge was the 4-0 winner over Manistee when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 5-2 to the Chippewas on Tuesday.

Oakridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Dutton, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Oakridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Manistee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

While Oakridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
