Soccer Recap: Glenbard East Starts Season with Win Against Plainfield Central

Glenbard East gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Plainfield Central Wildcats, sneaking past 3-2. Glenbard East wouldn't have won without Michael Szala, who scored the game-winner.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbard East will face off against West Aurora at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plainfield Central, they will square off against South Elgin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
