Emmett can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the Payette Pirates by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Emmett picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Payette, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
