Softball Game Preview: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Gar-Field Red Wolves

The Potomac Senior Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Gar-Field Red Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Potomac Senior is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Potomac Senior's offense. They came up short against South County on Wednesday, falling 23-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gar-Field). They blew past Freedom 29-23 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Potomac Senior's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Gar-Field, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Potomac Senior took their victory against Gar-Field in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
