The May River Sharks won the last time they faced the Beaufort Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. May River blew past Beaufort 44-11 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for May River.
Leading May River to victory were Brooke Dalton and Elizabeth Duncan. Dalton scored 14 points along with 6 steals, while Duncan scored 12 points along with 3 steals. May River will be playing at home against Ridgeland-Hardeeville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ridgeland-Hardeeville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Monday. As for Beaufort, they will head out on the road to face off against Bluffton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluffton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Beaufort in South Carolina (Bluffton is ranked 40th, while Beaufort is ranked 172nd).
