Football Game Preview: Plainwell Trojans vs. Otsego Bulldogs + How To Watch

Plainwell is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Otsego a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Plainwell Trojans will welcome the Otsego Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Plainwell has given up an average of 27.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Plainwell is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Niles on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trojans were outmatched by the Vikings and fell 49-14. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Otsego). They really took it to Sturgis for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-0 victory. The Bulldogs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 54-0).

Otsego's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Plainwell, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-5.

Plainwell was dealt a bruising 49-21 loss at the hands of Otsego in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
