Avery Cain Game Report: vs Bear Grass Charter

Pamlico County was sadly handed a loss on Wednesday, but Avery Cain did her best to prevent it. Cain wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her 13th straight with two or fewer walks.

Cain and Pamlico County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. The Hurricanes got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Trojans thanks in part to Cain: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
