Football Game Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Dalton Catamounts + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Cayden Benson and Caine Woods are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Creekside Seminoles and the Dalton Catamounts will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Creekside's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Last Friday, Creekside humbled Midtown with a 79-3 victory. Fans of the Seminoles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Eric Paul Jr was nothing short of spectacular: he picked up 209 receiving yards and four TDs. Those four receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dalton). Their defense stepped up to hand Woodland a 49-0 shutout two weeks ago. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Creekside better keep an eye on Nash Smith. He was instrumental in Dalton's win, rushing for 137 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Dalton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Damoni Black.

Creekside's record is now 10-0. As for Dalton, their record now sits at 3-7.

Everything went Creekside's way against Dalton in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, as Creekside made off with a 49-24 victory. Will the Seminoles repeat their success, or do the Catamounts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
