Softball Recap: South Aiken Takes a Loss

South Aiken fell victim to Gray Collegiate Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 13-0. The Thoroughbreds just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

South Aiken's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South Aiken is set to take on their familiar foe North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gray Collegiate Academy will square off against rival Brookland-Cayce at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
