Basketball Recap: Rivers Knight's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jordan over Clayton

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Jordan couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Clayton Comets 51-47. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rivers Knight, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Knight is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 23 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Lowe, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Clayton, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clayton, they will head out to square off against Green Level at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Green Level has won five straight at home, while Clayton won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
