Softball Recap: Shades Valley Mounties vs. Shelby County Wildcats

Shades Valley fell victim to Shelby County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shelby County Wildcats. Shades Valley just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

For Shelby County's part, Gracie Nicewonder made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Nicewonder was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
