Basketball Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Kathleen Red Devils

Sebring and Kathleen are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Sebring Blue Streaks will host the Kathleen Red Devils at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sebring is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since December 5, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of George Jenkins by a score of 49-47.

Meanwhile, Kathleen scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to Bridge to Independence 88-82. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Red Devils still had to take the loss.

Kathleen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Sebring, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Sebring skirted past Kathleen 67-64 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Sebring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kathleen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
