Basketball Recap: Carter Keehn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Riverside over Archangels Catholic

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 53-36 to the Archangels Catholic Defenders. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Defenders from their previous meeting back in January.

Riverside's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Keehn, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack Molt, who had nine points.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Archangels Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Riverside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-45 loss against Fullerton on the 17th. Archangels Catholic has also already played their next game, a 57-43 defeat against Scotus on the 14th.
