The ALA - West Foothills Guardians will venture away from home to square off against the Kingman Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
ALA - West Foothills' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Chino Valley as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Guardians as they're now sitting on five straight.

Jaxson Garvey looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Brody Taylor was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Kellett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
ALA - West Foothills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Kingman entered their tilt with Highland Prep on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Honey Badgers.
Kingman got a massive performance out of Canton Collins, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Cires Esquivel also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
ALA - West Foothills pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Kingman, their record is now 18-4.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. ALA - West Foothills has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432. However, it's not like Kingman struggles in that department as they've averaged .481. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
ALA - West Foothills came up short against Kingman in their previous meeting back in March, falling 8-4. Can the Guardians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
