Baseball Recap: Garfield Comes Up Short

Garfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Minerva Lions.

Garfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Minerva, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Garfield will challenge Archbishop Hoban at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minerva, they will take on Beaver Local at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
