The True North Classical Academy Titans will head out on the road to square off against the Braddock Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
True North Classical Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Immaculata-La Salle. That looming 5-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Titans yet this season.

True North Classical Academy got a great performance from Alex Diaz as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Diaz has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Misael Uriepero was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Gabriel Mestre also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Braddock waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Panthers 18-8. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Eduardo Echeverria looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Braddock got a massive performance out of Jorge Gonzalez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Marcelo Torres, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Braddock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Braddock pushed their record up to 10-1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for True North Classical Academy, their record now sits at 8-4.
