Sikeston came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Knights, posting a 99-62 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Knights are ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K lost, don't look at Nathan Reed. Despite the final result, he went 11 for 16 en route to 26 points and three steals. Reed has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Bradford, who posted eight points.
