Volleyball Recap: Mason Comets vs. Seton Saints

It was a good run, but Mason unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seton Saints. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sakura Codling, who had 21 digs and two aces. Mason's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5. As for Seton, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason is on the road again on Thursday to play Princeton at 6:00 p.m. As for Seton, they will venture away from home to square off against Lakota West at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
