Baseball Recap: Gleason Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Gleason's offense. They came up short against the McKenzie Rebels on Monday, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost eight in a row.

Gleason saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Legens, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Gleason's loss dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for McKenzie, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gleason will face off against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McKenzie, they will host Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
