Baseball Game Preview: Farmville Central Jaguars vs. North Pitt Panthers

The Farmville Central Jaguars are taking a road trip to challenge the North Pitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Farmville Central is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since March 25th on Friday. They lost 15-9 to South Central.

Chase Felton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Thomas Mosley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, North Pitt didn't have quite enough to beat West Craven last Thursday and fell 4-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Farmville Central's record is now 10-8-1. As for North Pitt, their record now sits at 4-13.

Everything went Farmville Central's way against North Pitt in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Farmville Central made off with a 15-1 win. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
