JB Davis was a major factor in East Surry's win over North Forsyth on Friday. Davis threw for 110 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards. The performance also marked the most passer rating (163.2) he has had since back in November of 2024.

Davis and East Surry will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Surry Central at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Cardinals are 8-1 against the Golden Eagles going back to August of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
