Softball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Brooks' Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Brooks's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 on Monday.

Brooks is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Back of the Yards College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Coming up, Brooks will square off against Kenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Back of the Yards College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
