Softball Recap: Torres Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Torres lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mendez, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Toros were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over the Jaguars on Wednesday. Fans of the Toros have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The victory (which was Torres' third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 24.3 runs this season. As for Mendez, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Torres will challenge Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mendez, they will square off against South East at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
