Volleyball Recap: Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Howard Eagles by a score of 3-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 16-14.

Looking ahead, Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Tarboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Howard will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against Henderson Collegiate, they'll take on Howard again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
