Basketball Recap: Bayfront Charter Takes a Loss

Bayfront Charter lost against High Tech CV two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bayfront Charter Sharks took a blow against the High Tech CV Bruins, falling 81-53. The Sharks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-25.

Kyle Ilagan was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-10 to rack up 19 points for High Tech CV. The dominant performance also gave Ilagan a new career-high in field goal percentage (80%). King California was another key player, going 5-for-6 on his way to 13 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Bayfront Charter and nudges their season record down to 13-9. As for High Tech CV, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Bayfront Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for High Tech CV, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bonsall at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Bonsall has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with 11 straight defeats, while High Tech CV will come in with eight straight wins.
