Volleyball Recap: Monday's Win Is Hillsboro Christian Academy's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

After losing to Dominion Academy the last time they met, Hillsboro Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Sabers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 25-10.

Annie Henderson paced Hillsboro Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Henderson got some help from Alanna Stoltzfus and her 12 assists. Stoltzfus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Hillsboro Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Dominion Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Hillsboro Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Milford Christian on the 14th. As for Dominion Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
