Preview: Bard vs. Clinton School
Bard will be home for the holidays to greet Clinton School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bard is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Monday, Bard came up short against St. Mary and fell 34-26.
Meanwhile, Clinton School also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Adams Street Academy by a score of 51-40.
Jaya Kelly put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 20 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Tokarczyk, who scored four points along with 17 rebounds.
Bard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Clinton School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Bard came up short against Clinton School in their previous matchup back in February, falling 53-44. Thankfully for Bard, Shirley Chen (who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
