Volleyball Game Preview: Northwestern Tigers vs. St. Croix Falls Saints

Northwestern is 0-8 against St. Croix Falls since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Saints at 7:00 p.m. Northwestern will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Northwestern's tournament run continued when they took on Turtle Lake on Saturday. The Tigers came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 2-0.

While Northwestern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, St. Croix Falls got the win against Cumberland on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won eight in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. Croix Falls was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-6, 25-15.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for St. Croix Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
