Basketball Recap: Spaulding Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, Spaulding faced Harwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Spaulding Crimson Tide had to suffer through a 76-47 loss at the hands of the Harwood Highlanders. The Crimson Tide's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Spaulding's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Harwood, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Spaulding has already played their next game (against Thetford Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Hazen likes a good challenge.
