Basketball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss

Newport lost against Shadle Park back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Newport Grizzlies lost 57-37 to the Shadle Park Highlanders. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Shadle Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Newport will head out to take on Kettle Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shadle Park, they will host Pasco at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
