Softball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant lost to Kent City on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Herrmann was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Chloe McGowan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kent City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Grant will square off against Hart at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kent City, they will challenge Covenant Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
