Softball Recap: South Salem Comes Up Short

South Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sheldon Irish, falling 15-4.

South Salem's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Sheldon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Salem will host West Salem at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sheldon, they will be playing at home against South Eugene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in the Irish's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Axe have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
