Granite Hills dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Hesperia Scorpions by a score of 18-17. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scorpions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.
