Baseball Recap: Elko Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elko can now relate to. They fell just short of the Truckee Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-0 loss back in March.

Elko saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Roumanos, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Elko now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Truckee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Elko nor Truckee have any future games scheduled.
