Volleyball Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin lost against London back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Matadors fell 2-0 to the Pirates. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20.

Elli Anderson paced Seguin's offense, picking up six kills. Anderson got some help from Gisele Morales and her 14 assists.

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for London, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Seguin and London will both be playing Davenport the next time they take the court. The Matadors will head out to face the Wolves at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
