Preview: Leflore County Tigers vs. O'Bannon Greenwaves
Leflore County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the O'Bannon Greenwaves at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Leflore County ended up a good deal behind Riverside and lost 55-40.
O'Bannon suffered their biggest loss since November 14, 2023 on January 9th. They suffered a tough 65-39 defeat at the hands of Leflore County. O'Bannon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leflore County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-13. As for O'Bannon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Everything went Leflore County's way against O'Bannon in their previous matchup on January 9th as Leflore County made off with a 65-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leflore County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
