Football Game Preview: Suitland Rams vs. Bowie Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Suitland Rams will challenge the Bowie Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Suitland will be strutting in after a win while Bowie will be coming in after a defeat.

Suitland will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Eleanor Roosevelt, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Rams were the clear victors by a 30-7 margin over the Raiders on Friday. Considering the Rams have won three games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jayden Lee was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and one score. Those 158 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Suitland proved: they limited Eleanor Roosevelt to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. While two picked up at least eight total tackles, Sai'Quan Olfus stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss). Suitland didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

Meanwhile, something's probably wrong if your squad accumulates more yards in penalties than offense, a fact Bowie just learned the hard way. They had to suffer through a 49-6 loss at the hands of Oxon Hill. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Suitland and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Suitland strolled past Bowie when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-20. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bulldogs' Vic'Tor Dickens, who picked up 183 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
