Football Recap: George Walton Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

George Walton Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans 30-7. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 20-14 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

George Walton Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zack Wolf, who rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 58 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns Wolf has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aj Dillard, who rushed for 68 yards and one score on only seven carries.

George Walton Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George Walton Academy will head out to face off against The King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they will challenge Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
