There's no place like home for Buckeye, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Westview Knights with a sharp 35-14 win on Friday.

Xylin Yancy produced another solid effort rushing for 107 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Buckeye was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 357 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Westview lost, don't look at Nicholas Price. Despite the final result, he threw for 105 yards and a pair of TDs. Demario Wade-Bey also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.

The victory got Buckeye back to even at 2-2. As for Westview, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
