Football Recap: Westmoreland Find Success

Westmoreland's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jordan-Elbridge Eagles a 2-0 shutout.

Westmoreland now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westmoreland will welcome Mexico on Saturday. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they will challenge Altmar-Parish-Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
