Hartford and Bloomingdale are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Hartford Huskies will challenge the Bloomingdale Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hartford and six for Bloomingdale.

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Hartford didn't have enough. They came up short against Centreville on Tuesday, falling 38-16. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 264th).

Meanwhile, Bloomingdale lost to Bangor on the road by a 39-24 margin on Tuesday.

Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Bloomingdale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Hartford strolled past Bloomingdale in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 35-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hartford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
