Volleyball Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Bethlehem Catholic Hawks

Freedom hasn't had much luck against Bethlehem Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Patriots are taking a road trip to square off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Freedom comes in on eight and Bethlehem Catholic on 16.

On Wednesday, Freedom got the win against Northampton by a conclusive 3-0.

While Freedom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-25, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Catholic made easy work of Nazareth Area on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Bethlehem Catholic never let Nazareth Area on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-7, 25-17.

Bethlehem Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 20-5-2.

Freedom came up short against Bethlehem Catholic when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
