Basketball Game Preview: Bolton Central Eagles vs. Crown Point Panthers

Bolton Central has gone 10-0 against Crown Point recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bolton Central Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Crown Point Panthers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bolton Central has five straight victories, Crown Point has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bolton Central beat Schroon Lake 43-37.

Bolton Central found their leader in freshman Ella Hens, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Hens. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadynn Egloff, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, Crown Point came up short against Seton Catholic Central on Wednesday and fell 42-33. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly nine points.

Bolton Central pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Crown Point, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Bolton Central against Crown Point in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 50-21 victory. Will Bolton Central repeat their success, or does Crown Point have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
