Baseball Game Preview: Barstow Aztecs vs. Silverado Hawks

For the second straight game, Barstow will face off against Silverado. The Aztecs will head out to challenge the Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Barstow has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 27.

On Wednesday, Barstow came up short against Silverado and fell 7-3.

For Silverado's part, Jayden Pauling was excellent, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Pauling has hit this season. Uriel Martin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Silverado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Barstow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Silverado, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
