Edison won the last time they faced Odessa-Montour and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 14-3 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Edison's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Edison will head out to face off against Spencer-Van Etten at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Odessa-Montour, they will challenge Dundee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
