Hickory is 8-2 against Foard since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Tornadoes will look to defend their home pitch against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hickory is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Newton-Conover just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-1. One thing that didn't help Hickory's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of DALTON RICE.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Foard was not quite South Iredell's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.

Hickory's loss dropped their record down to 12-3-3. As for Foard, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2.

Hickory was able to grind out a solid victory over Foard when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Red Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
